NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint Review

Nars came out the velvet matte skin tint a while ago and I’ve been testing it out for months so I could throughly review it for all of you!
I want to start off my mentioning that Nars is a cruelty-free makeup brand and their makeup products are truly one of my favorites.
If you are like me and you hate the cakey feeling of heavier foundations, this foundation is perfect for you! I also have very oily skin so I have been moving away from my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer to this. Its very lightweight and keeps your skin matte all day (if you set it with powder). The texture is very silky and velvet-like and is very blendable with both a brush and beauty blender.
Since this is a skintint, it does have light-medium coverage however you may need some full coverage concealer to cover up any imperfections on your face.
When my skin was breaking out I found this to be drying on areas where I was treating it with benzoyl peroxide so this may not be ideal for people with a lot of acne. I would recommend a more moisturizing bb cream instead!
Also, this foundation contains Vitamins C & E which is great for your skin along with SPF 30 which means there could be some flashback in pictures.
The only negative part of this foundation is that it costs $44 however it beats all the other tinted moisturizes/bb creams that I have tried! I would give this product a 4.8/5.0.
